Historical Acceptance Rates

Berea College's overall acceptance rate has shown a downward trend in recent years, dropping from 38.0% for the application year 2017 to 24.6% for the application year 2022, where 2217 applicants competed for just 545 spots. The acceptance rate in 2021 was slightly higher at 32.8%, with 572 out of 1744 applicants being admitted.
