Historical Acceptance Rates

Calvin College's overall acceptance rate has seen a decline in recent years, with a rate of 71.3% for the application year 2024, down from 74.2% in 2022 and 74.0% in 2023. The number of applicants has increased significantly, rising from 4,079 in 2023 to 4,719 in 2024, while the number of accepted students has also grown, from 3,018 to 3,365 during the same period. This trend indicates that, despite a higher number of applications and acceptances, the overall acceptance rate is decreasing, suggesting a more competitive admissions landscape at Calvin College.
