The Johns Hopkins University has reported a wait list acceptance rate of 2.9% for the application year 2024, with 71 out of 2,478 students offered a spot. This marks a significant decline from 2023, where no students were accepted from the 3,443 waitlisted applicants, indicating a 0% acceptance rate. Previously, in 2022, the acceptance rate was 0.1%, with only 2 out of 3,724 offered students gaining admission. The sharp drop in admission from the wait list in recent years underscores the increasing competitiveness and unpredictability of the process at Johns Hopkins.
