Historical Acceptance Rates

Emporia State University has shown a noticeable decline in its overall acceptance rates over recent years. For the application year 2024, the acceptance rate stands at 75% from a pool of 3,000 applicants, with 2,250 students accepted. This is down from an impressive 95.7% acceptance rate in 2023, where 1,846 applicants were considered, and 1,766 were admitted. The 2022 acceptance rate was 92.4%, indicating a trend of decreasing acceptance rates, suggesting that the university may be becoming more selective in its admissions process.
