Historical Acceptance Rates

Kent State University has seen a steady increase in its overall acceptance rate, reaching 85% for the application year 2024, up from 80.4% in 2023. The number of applicants has also risen significantly, increasing from 28,000 in 2023 to 30,000 in 2024, with 25,500 students accepted in the latest cycle. Both Early Action (EA) and Regular Decision (RD) acceptance rates remained consistent at 85% for 2024, indicating a strong and stable admission environment. Previously, acceptance rates hovered around 80% from 2021 to 2023, showcasing an upward trend in the university's admissions process.
