Swarthmore College Regular Decision Acceptance Rate

For the application year 2024, Swarthmore College has a Regular Decision acceptance rate of 7.5%, with 975 students accepted out of 13,065 applicants. This marks a slight increase from the 6.9% acceptance rate for both 2022 and 2023, when there were 1,019 and 992 students admitted, respectively. The 2024 figure also shows improvement from the 7.8% acceptance rate in 2021. However, acceptance rates have generally been decreasing over the years, from 12.8% in 2016 to 9.1% in 2020.
