Troy University's acceptance rates have been remarkably high in recent years. For the application year 2022, the overall acceptance rate was 94.8% with 7,035 applicants and 6,672 accepted. This marked a slight decrease from 95.2% in 2021, when 6,766 students applied, with 6,446 gaining admission. Prior to that, the acceptance rate was even lower at 92.4% for 2020 and 87.5% for 2019.
